L-buh-ight Bah-buh-ox

I did it. I made a light box and it took 5 minutes. I had given my son verbal instructions based on a design I saw on a blog somewhere. He is so careful and meticulous when he approaches any kind of art or creative endeavour--this is something that I'm only, now that he is 17, realizing, which seems impossible.

Turns out he was a bit too careful and meticulous so I took his perfect measured design and ripped it bigger. Anyway, it's not perfect but any stretch, but it works about 500% better than my expectation. I just needed something to take what
I call emergency photos. You know, when traumatized injured people show up at my door needing whiskey, diy stitches, and photographic documentation of it all. Just teasing, that hardly ever happens anymore.

But there are times when I need to show a customer something asap or snap a photo to fulfill a promise before shipping, etc. The lighting situation is getting a tad better now, but there's such a small window of picture-taking opportunity time that I can barely get my listing photos in. Anyway, that's a picture of it above looking like a spiritualism relic. I love that.

Here's a photo the light box took:

What do you think?

  3. How odd. I can see them okay, but I'll check it from another computer. I seem to encounter a lot of problems posting. Thanks for letting me know.

  4. I can't see the light box either - just blank white spaces. Or is your light box that bright?...
