GIVEAWAY! Herkimer Diamond Pendant Assemblage Necklace

I've been threatening to do this giveaway for months and I'm finally ready!  Here's the necklace I'm giving away: (Details on how to enter the giveaway are at the bottom of this post.)

6|\/3@\/\//-\`/  |*i^1`/.3 |\|3<|<|_@<3

Its pendant features a gorgeous 9.6 carat Herkimer Diamond wrapped in oxidized sterling silver wire.  Also included are several types of lampwork beads, cloisonne beads, vintage metal links, vintage plastic and disc beads, and a couple of my own polymer clay beads.

Above is the pendant as received from Fall Hill.

I have mentioned my friend Kim a few times here, and now I invite you to check out her Etsy shop and blog, and pass it on. This is from her 'about' area at Etsy:

"Fall Hill Bead and Gem is a full service bead shop carrying an endless variety of beads and findings, as well as mineral specimens from around the world. We specialize in Herkimer Diamond Jewelry, as well as Herkimer Diamond crystals. We work with many local miners, as well as collect crystals at our private mine to bring you one of a kind Herkimer Diamond specimens, as well as gem grade jewelry crystals and one of a kind jewelry designs."

She's got pictures and stories about gem mining adventures, her and her partner Adam's brick and mortar store in our little town, and more at her blog, Fall Hill Bead & Gem.

So--the giveaway!  In about 2 weeks or so, I will fold names/tickets into a bowl, shuffle them around,  and have one of my brand new baby rats choose one.

That's right!  We now have three baby rats.  They are delightful. Mule, Gums, and Snorkel.  Mule (in front here) is a dumbo rex, which means he has curly hair and whiskers, and round, side-set ears. They are all completely adorable.  And not this tiny anymore--we've had them a month now; we got them a few days after our last elderly, dear, fat, Squiggy died.  Anyway....

    1. Hey! The sterling wrap was done by Fall Hill. They come as ready-to-use pendants; all I did was oxidize the wire so it would blend in with the overall look. I wish I could wrap that simply! I'll add a photo of the pendant as it started out.

  20. Your baby rats are kinda cute! I'm not a huge fan of tiny rodents, but I don't really have anything against them either. I've just never had any myself. Several friends also have rats and I kinda get the deal-io. Anyway, congrats on the new babies. Oh, and after leaving this comment, I've also favorited the etsy shops (2 tickets)

  35. Your blog is very informative. Eating mindfully has been very hard for people these days. It's all because of their busy schedules, work or lack of focus on themselves. As a student I must admit that I have not been eating mindfully but because of this I will start now. It could help me enjoy my food and time alone. Eating mindfully may help me be aware of healthy food and appreciating food. avni gujral jewellery online
